Franconian Switzerland owes its name to the landscape of hills with special rock formations and mysterious caves. Countless rivers run through the green fields and even greener forests. Among the treetops you can spy one or two castles perched high above. In addition to historical sites and unique nature, Franconian Switzerland also has a lot to offer culturally. The region is characterised by its traditional beer culture in particular. We recommend taking a long hike and then stopping off at one of the many inns to savour the brewing culture.
